advantage, weaknesses, and Old Trafford draw

Manchester United took the lead twice against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford but could not hold on to the win. Rice was weak in terms of personnel. The main midfielders, Bissuma, had an obvious weakness that Salt and Captain Sun Hongmin couldn’t have. But United could not take the opportunity.

United could not control the midfield and could not build play.

United players are not able to hold the ball for long. This is the pattern that usually happens in every event. Their advantage is that they tend to counter-attack through transitions when the opponent misses the ball. It’s against Tan Hatch’s philosophy, but I think he’s using it when he’s comfortable with these players and quick transitions. United took a two-goal lead in transition and beat Spurs. Spurs also effectively used United’s weakness in defending set pieces.

It was obvious that United’s set-piece defending system was relatively weak in Richardson’s equalizing goal.

In other words, both teams had their strengths and weaknesses. We scored goals using those points. Hogland’s close-range rocket kick is full of power and terrifying. He also set up Rafford’s goal. What he needs is to find more opportunities. When he met Paddy, Rafford, who had good skills, worked quite well on the left wing. He was able to add fear to the Spurs defense. He scored a goal that would have made it 2-1, but he wasted another chance to make it 3-1.

Rafford’s performance was both good and bad.

Ganacho, on the right side, lost his ability. Udogi was too good at cornering, so she didn’t move. United’s right-wing attack was lifeless. Pedro Porro, who are the background people of Paddy, and Udogi played well throughout the match. Watching this pair reminds me of Liverpool’s Robo and Arnold. Pedro Porro’s attack, the ability to support the midfield, and his chances created are perfect right back.

The one to praise is Timo Varna. His first game at the new club was at Old Trafford.

Playing at Son Heung-min’s place is even more stressful. But Varna’s route-running and penetration were effective. He has only been on the team for a few days, but he has to be praised for being able to play so well. The goal kicks are still good, except as before. But the assist was his debut advantage. Although the team did not win, it was beneficial for Varna. Paddy will be satisfied with the fact that he was able to play dominantly even when he was undermanned and was able to get a draw away from home. United got goals because of their strengths, but they had to pay back because of their weaknesses and mistakes. Both teams were good and bad together, and it was a fair result.
